​"A feast for your eyes!"

"First off, not only is this the most perfect location on Maui, as you drive into this quiet and stunning gated community you know you are in for a treat! We were greeted by the most gracious host, Trish. She offered great advice about what to do during our stay and showed us where to find an umbrella, cooler, and beach chairs for us to use. This Ohana looks like a fancy boutique hotel. Even the bathroom feels like a luxurious spa with special bath products. Trish really thought of everything! Out front there is an amazing ocean/sunset view and out back a peaceful mountain view. We had the best experience staying here, so choose this slice of paradise before booking any resort or hotel."

​"Great location, great host!"

"My husband and I chose this Ohana because it was a great value and it was so close to the beach. We chose a gem! Trish was amazing in every way. She was a gracious host, telling us about all of the great spots to visit.  The Ohana is just a short (at points steep!) walk from Whaler's Village (a nice little shopping area) and the beach an even shorter walk from there.  Overall, we loved our stay and we would absolutely stay in this Ohana again when we return to Maui. Thank you Trish!"

"Luxurious house, perfect location"

"This Ohana is very-very nice. All furniture and accessories are piece of art. Trish, the owner, is so nice and accommodating that she actually let us stay in ther own huge house (that is just next door) for the same price as she was out of town during our trip. We could also use her beach equipment (snorkels, beach chairs, coolers etc), which truly came in handy during those long days at beach, swimming with sea turtles etc. Sunsets seen from the patio are just marvellous. The neighborhood is quiet and safe."

"Just perfect!"

"Luxury living in Maui at a reasonable price, what's not to like? I love to live like the locals while on vacation, and when I had the chance to live like a rich local while vacationing in Maui, I jumped at the chance. This place is just as described and as beautiful as the pictures. It was very quiet. The location was perfect for us. You will need a car, but in my opinion you need a car for any place on the island. We loved all the special touches like local bath products, drinks and snacks. Thanks Trish!"

"We had an amazing time at Trish's cottage. The place is absolutely beautiful and extremely well decorated. We had absolutely everything that we needed and even more. It is perfectly situated not far away from the beach, restaurants etc. and in the same time, away from all the touristic crowd. The view is fantastic, we really enjoyed the sunsets and rainbows. Would definitely recommend this place!"

"Better than a Hotel!"

The Cottage is beautiful! Everything is there, little kitchen, bathroom, AC, really everything is near by with a car - you need a car on Maui! Trish is a wonderful host and has a lot of tips what to do and what maybe not. We had a really great stay there. Thanks a lot!!! Better than staying in a hotel.

"Highly Recommend!"

"We really loved our stay at Trish's cottage! It provided more than everything that we needed. From the luxury bath products to beach towels and beach umbrellas. Her bed was amazingly soft and comfortable. Trish also left us local drinks and snacks to welcome us to Maui for the first time. The cottage is next to all the luxury hotels and etc. the area is conveniently located where beach access is not far away at all. Local shops and restaurants are all around the area. We would highly recommend this place if you are planning to visit Maui!"

"We LOVED our stay!"

"We LOVED our stay in Trish's cottage this past week. It was incredibly luxurious and we felt completely spoiled by Trish. She has such attention to detail and she likes nice things, I mean REALLY nice things. We felt like we were staying in a resort spa the entire time. The cottage has a nice little kitchenette which we used quite a bit, in fact we ended up eating out only once! Great location close to beaches, hiking, shopping (if you're into that sort of thing in Maui.) Trish was a fantastic host and even brought us some of her "famous" homemade salsa to make up for a half day glitch in the water heater. If you're going to Maui you need to stay here. We will definitely be back."

"We will definately be back!"

We had an amazing trip to Maui, and Trish's cottage was definitely a part of that! Though right next to the main house, it is very private and more comfortable than most hotels, in my opinion. There was a ton of space for two of us, plus she provided many extra amenities we enjoyed, such as coffee, beach towels and a grill. (We cooked a few meals in our kitchenette to save some money.) We greatly enjoyed being away from the busy resort areas, though it was close enough to walk, or a very quick drive, to many beaches, restaurants, etc. Trish was also great to work with -- she was very communicative both before and during the trip, and she provided us with some great suggestions on things to do and places to eat. Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer, but we will definitely be back!

Amenities

"The location is great but the ammenities just don't get better than this!"

 

 

Most of my guests have said staying at the Island Living Ohana is much better than staying in a hotel or resort!  Having an abundance of fantastic amenities is a very important detail that most vacation rentals or even hotels do not have.  I believe it is important to supply my guests with everything i would like to have, so they get the BEST!

 

Island Living Ohana is very comfortable with the only the best luxury items. The master custom teak poster bed has a pillow top matress with a feather bed top with soft, luxurious designer sheets and a light down comforter and down pillows (other pillows available upon request if you have allergies) Most of my guests say the bed is better than the one they have at home!

 

Now for the spa bathroom.... fabulous bath products including coco-mango products from Kohala Spa, thick, very soft towels luxury towels and a hydrotherepy jacuzzi tub and shower.  Also lots of yummy candles and diffusers and bath salts to add to the spa experience!

 

There are bath robes and slippers in the closet. Flat screen TV and dvd also in the Master bedroom with a HUGE DVD library and an ipod/alarm clock.

 

The living room/kitchenette has a fridge/freezer, Fisher Paykel dish drawer, convection microwave, convection countertop oven, induction plate, Keurig coffee maker and a large supply of coffees, iced coffee, teas and iced teas, regular coffee maker (when requested), toaster, blender, dishes and silverware. I have a private chef that is available to cook for you as well for an additional cost. There is also a 2nd flat screen TV in the living room with a DVR full cable with hundreds of channels channels including HBO, Showtime and Starz. Also a BluRay/DVD that will alow you to watch Netflix and the other network apps.  and we, of course, have high-speed internet.

 

For your activity days, there are 2 beach chairs, beach umbrella, large beach towels, soft pack ice chest and a custom picnic basket for your days at the beach. 

 

In the living room ares there is a top of the line Mitchell Gold Sofa that has a deluxe queen pull-out sleeper if you have a 3rd guest. 

 

A door from the master leads to a nice private patio with a table and chairs to enjoy a quiet meal and a charcoal BBQ if you want to stay in for dinner!    There are lounge chairs if you want to relax on the lawn, take in the tradewinds and enjoy the view of West Maui Mountains, the chances are good you will see a rainbow!
